Fix filesystem

Hi, Can anybody help me with this. "LUBUNTU 32BIT"

/dev/sda1 contains file system with errors, check forced.
inodes that were part of a corrupted linked list found.

/dev/sda1: unexpected inconsistency; run fsck manually.
(i.e without -a or -p options)
fsck exited with status code 4
the root filesystem on /dev/sda1 requires a manual fsck

busybox v1.22.1 ubuntu 1:122-0 ubuntu built in shell (ash)
enter help for a list of built in commands

(initramfs)

Try using a simple offline fsck /dev/sda1 as the error message suggests.

If that sorts things out, check the disk's SMART data (GSmartControl may be useful) to see if there is an underlying physical problem.

See here: https://askubuntu.com/questions/6971...-fsck-manually

Do you have anything (now) in lost+found ?. If so, might be worth trying to figure out where it came from.
