I have an aa1 with the original set up but fire fox is to old for some sites how can I instal a new vertion

aa1? What's that? Please use better thread titles and tell us more about the issue you actually have. Firefox is available in various forms from getfirefox.org and probably through your on system package management systems.

aa1 is an Acer Aspire One.

The package manager in Linpus is very basic, and lists available updates (firefox is not one). You can probably update Firefox via the command prompt but might be tricky. A better bet might be easier to install another version of Linux (I use Ubuntu). That can sit alongside Linpus, and you then choose which one you want to boot into.
