FireWire problems

Hey there guys, I tried to face this on my own but I admit I really would need the help.
Even if I'm still in a one way love with Debian I moved it on my laptop and switched my desktop on Kubunto waiting for Stretch to become stable.(my hardware is too new and got too many problem for me to actually get it to work 100% being new to linux in general).

Anyway, now that i'm on KUbuntu 15.10 this means new kernel and new alsa for me, that means that the integrated audio on my asus z170 progaming works and that alsa driver are actually capable of recognizing my Focusrite Saffire PRO 14.

Code:
$ aplay -l
**** Lista di PLAYBACK dispositivi hardware ****
scheda 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], dispositivo 0: ALC1150 Analog [ALC1150 Analog]
  Sottoperiferiche: 0/1
  Sottoperiferica #0: subdevice #0
scheda 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], dispositivo 1: ALC1150 Digital [ALC1150 Digital]
  Sottoperiferiche: 1/1
  Sottoperiferica #0: subdevice #0
scheda 1: NVidia [HDA NVidia], dispositivo 3: HDMI 0 [HDMI 0]
  Sottoperiferiche: 1/1
  Sottoperiferica #0: subdevice #0
scheda 1: NVidia [HDA NVidia], dispositivo 7: HDMI 1 [HDMI 1]
  Sottoperiferiche: 1/1
  Sottoperiferica #0: subdevice #0
scheda 1: NVidia [HDA NVidia], dispositivo 8: HDMI 2 [HDMI 2]
  Sottoperiferiche: 1/1
  Sottoperiferica #0: subdevice #0
scheda 1: NVidia [HDA NVidia], dispositivo 9: HDMI 3 [HDMI 3]
  Sottoperiferiche: 1/1
  Sottoperiferica #0: subdevice #0
scheda 2: Pro1400869c [Pro14-00869c], dispositivo 0: DICE [Pro14-00869c]
  Sottoperiferiche: 1/1
  Sottoperiferica #0: subdevice #0

now I tried to set /etc/asound.conf

Code:
pcm.!default {
    type hw
    card Pro1400869c
}

ctl.!default {
    type hw
    card Pro1400869c
}

asound.conf (END)
but unluckily it doesn't seams like alsa alone can manage my card, as when I boot into my system the FW led on my device light up for few second and then turn off again.
if I try to use jack with asla driver it works with the mobo as device but then if I try to select the firewire card:

from Jack Driver: alsa | Device: pro1400869c with ffado driver installed ==>the light on FW led is on but the device won't work (I can hear some whistle when i link some channel with jack "Connect")
from Jack Driver: alsa | Device: pro1400869c withOUT ffado driver installed ==>jack won't start the audio server.
from Jack Driver: firewire | Device: default with ffado driver installed ==>jack won't start the audio server.

I guess that there's some kind of conflict between alsa and ffado both trying to take control of my firewire device and alsa alone won't work either right now I'm so confused I don't know how to continue testing.
The system can see my device and interact on some measure with it:
Code:
$ grep . /sys/bus/firewire/devices/fw*/*_name
/sys/bus/firewire/devices/fw0/model_name:Juju
/sys/bus/firewire/devices/fw0/vendor_name:Linux Firewire
/sys/bus/firewire/devices/fw1.0/model_name:SAFFIRE_PRO_14
/sys/bus/firewire/devices/fw1/model_name:SAFFIRE_PRO_14
/sys/bus/firewire/devices/fw1/vendor_name:Focusrite
Code:
~$ ls -l /dev/fw*
crw------- 1 root root  247, 0 dic  4 14:28 /dev/fw0
crw-rw-r-- 1 root audio 247, 1 dic  4 14:28 /dev/fw1

I would gladly accept any kind of help, direct or indirect that the community can give to me. Even if you just have some good, recent, documentation on alsa new drivers it would be oh so strongly appreciated you can't imagine.

Hi...

I'm not sure I can help with this but for those can, please open a terminal and post the output (not a screenshot, please) of...

Code:
lspci -nnk
If any of the devices that you are speaking of are USB, please also include the results from...

Code:
lsusb
It might be helpful knowing some additional information about your devices.

Regards...

Nothing on the usb ofc as my audio card is on the firewire port as title and [code] states.
I'm really strugling to find documentation it seams firewire audio is not finding a place on the market even if it's really worth for musicians and the likes.
