Firewall/Iptables Help
I'm on Slackware 14 and I'm tring to setup my firewall and etc. but the problem I am having is that when I run apf firewall, it can't find iptables. I have apf firewall all configured. Do I have to install iptables again, or do I have to point apf firewall to the right directory? Please help, and thanks.

iptables is in /usr/sbin and needs to be run as "root" so are you trying to run apf as a non-root user? Also, in conf.apf, did you check FWPATH?

I am in root and where I guess iptables are supposed to be, it can't find the file.

Then there has to a config error. Make sure /usr/sbin contains iptables, iptables-save, iptables-restore and that apf knows that it is "iptables" and not another name. Also, are you trying to configure ip6tables?
