Firewall in Slackware 10.0

how do i enable firewall in Slackware 10.0

The slackware distro has the directories "/usr/doc/linux-faqs" and "/usr/doc/linux-howtos". These directories are a true library plenty of information for anyone who wants to learn. You will find a firewall-howto and some more about the topic. I also suggest you to visit www.netfilter.org, the home of linux iptables, the framework to build firewall.

also, there are some good newb-friendly apps available, such as firestarter:

http://firestarter.sourceforge.net/

I think there's a .tgz for it at linuxpackages.net
