Firewall Daemon (firewalld) and Networking
 

With the Ubuntu release 1410, i can see that we are able to install firewalld daemon in Debian based systems. As we already know, this firewall works in zone based management system. So basically, before we manage rules, we have to specify a Zone(E.g. public, internal, trusted, etc)to a specific interface like eth0 or wlan0.

A "zone" already can be configured thru Network-Manager, where we have the options to select which "Zone" a particular interface belongs to. This can be achieve by running nm-connection-editor

Now my question is, what stanza do we use to set a "Zone" for a particular interface in /etc/network/interfaces file.
(In Fedora, this can be achieved by ZONE=(zone-name) in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
