Firefox website login and password management in Kubuntu

Could someone give me an idea how Kubuntu integrates with FF in saving login and password info on websites, in particular where info is stored so it can be edited. I migrated from Feisty to Gutsy and still find one website (a bank) in which login is continually filled in incorrectly (3 alphanumerics are replaced by *'s). Don't tell me to go to Show Passwords--that list is empty.

Look under your home directory of .mozilla. Look for signon.txt. The text for ogin and passwd are encrypted. Not sure anything can be changed.
