Firefox Problem


Dear Fellows

Hi,

How i can firefox as a default browser.

any tips.

Depends on distribution and desktop environment or window manager.

Edit -> Preferences -> General : Default Browser.
You can select this and then firefox will check at startup if it is the default browser.

Computer > Desktop Preferences > Preferred Applications

If you are talking about changing the icon on the Gnome page then:
Right click on your "Browse the internet" link then go to properties.

at the "command" area click on browse then browse to where you installed firefox, it could look something like:
/Downloads/firefox-1/firefox-installer/firefox

then you should be good to go.
