Firefox on 64bit OpenSuSE problem
I am currently running a OpenSuSE 10.3 x86_64 box. Anyone encountered the same problem as mine? (although this happens in my 10.2 box as well)
When my firefox(2,3) has a extra window dialog such as a pop-up, preference window, bookmark manager, I just cant type anything in that new window dialog. Let me give 2 examples: 1.) Browsing my bank credit card website. To login, you must open its popup (it won't work if I choose to open it with new tab). When the browser pop-up a new window, I just cant type a d-a-m-n thing on it. 2.) I wanna rename my existing bookmark and I launch the bookmark manager of firefox. I juz cant type anything in the bookmark manager. Meanwhile, all keyboard inputs are absolutely normal in other programs. The most surprising thing is that I can still key-in in my main firefox window dialog but not any pop-up. It's so annoying. Anyone encounters the same problem as mine? and any idea and solution? |

If you like to rename the existing folders , goto the folder click on right button of the mouse goto properties and change the name Hope this is what you mean |

You juz cant type anything |
In my opinion it has nothing to with suse or firefox
Something during install has gone wrong Maybe it worth to reinstall firefox , but after un installing firefox using yast The hidden files of firefox is still there , so you have to delete it manually And then do firefox as fresh install Or try a other web browser Opera for instance Hope it helps |
