Firefox KDE issue
Hello everyone,
Let me start by saying that I've only began using Linux a couple of days ago, but I've been quite impressed so far. I currently have Mandrake 10 and I am using KDE. I've recently installed Mozilla Firefox on /usr/local but I am not sure how to integrate it to KDE. For me to make it work, I need to browse to that directory and click on the Firefox icon. However, I want it to be on my KDE programs menu. How do I do that? Any advice would be most welcomed. Thanks in advance. |
Right click in the menu K icon on your desktop, choose "Menu editor". What follows is self-explanatory.

I am using KDE 3.2.X and I see no "K" icon on the desktop. Any other suggestions? Obrigado pelo reply. |
Nevermind Bruno, I've got it. On Mandrake, the "K" is replaced by a "Star". Valeu!!!!

Cheers! Bemvindo!
To add icons to your desktop, just browse konqueror to the file you need, then drag it to desktop, choose "Link here". |
