firefox just quit on me - here i am on seamonkey

when i try to run firefox from the command line i get

Quote:

[knox@knox ~]$ firefox
/usr/lib/firefox/firefox: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/xulrunner/libxul.so: undefined symbol: PR_SetCurrentThreadName
I told yum to reinstall - it did so - still have this err0r

I realize I probably need to reinstall some part of the x windows system?

Any help - greatly appreciated

If you have Seamonkey working, it's nothing wrong with your X,... There's something wrong with Firefox. By the way, Mozilla apparently "recalled" the latest version of Firefox for security reasons . What are you running???

Your bookmarks should still be accessible,... I believe they are stored as an html document in Firefox's hidden user account directory,... Use your file browser and enable showing hidden files. Find the hidden directoey for Mozilla Firefox or just Firefox, and in one of the subdirectories should be the file or files with your bookmarks...

It may be possible to import them into another browser, like Chrome.
