Honestly, I am new user in Linux.I have a CentOS 5 OS...My problem is everytime I browse the web using firefox, it(firefox) suddenly closes...A reply would surely be a great help for me...Thank you
Please provide more info, what version of firefox ? What plugins and extensions do you have installed ? How was this firefox installed, is it the official version or one provided by your distro ?
I don't know if this is what 'texmex' is refering to but it might be a Ram issue as firefox is heavy on and that might cause a problem if yours is spread thin. You could try Opera that uses less and is free.
Start up firefox from a terminal emulator on your desktop, and see if you get any informative messages before it crashes. In all likelihood you'll at least be able to do a web search for the message, and see what others have come up with.
