Firefox changing tabs

sorry for asking so many questions but this has been bothering me for awhile and i know it's in the about:config file cause i remember doing it before..

But i can't find it.

When i press down ctrl + num {1-9} i'm able to change tabs in windows, but in xubuntu it isn't working.

ctrl + tab works and so does ctrl + page up/down

i'm used to using the number keys.. it's like switching from a manual to an autamtic it's just bugging me, anyone know what's up? I'm just tired of looking, i read up on every browser.tab.* option but nothing seems to control changing tabs.

And i googled it and ran through several web pages i just can't find it. I'm pretty sure it's possible i just don't know where the option is.

Anyway, help is always apreciated. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi,

I am using Ubuntu 9.10 and I can change tabs by pressing alt + num{1-9}. Also works with "regular 1-9".

Hi,

Don't forget the 'ctrl + Shft + tab' to move back or 'ctrl + tab' to move forward.
