Firefox 1.0 not working

Using Mandrake 10.1 and KDE 3.2.3
I had Firefox working perfectly, until I did something and now it's not working. I'm not sure what I did, though. I was uninstalling Wine and doing other stuff, but I don't see how it affected Firefox. Anyway, I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it using an rpm from rpm.pbone. Still didn't work. Now I found out that Beep Media Player isn't opening up either. Nor is Mozilla Suite. I logged in as root and they all work fine. I backed up my etc folder when I first install MDK, but not my usr folder (I guess I should have). Any advice?

Edit: Some new things that I've discovered is that when I open Konsole this comes up:
Quote:
chmod: changing permissions of `/home/floresg/tmp': Operation not permitted
and when I type mozilla-firefox as a user (not root), it says
Quote:
** ERROR **: I can't write to '/home/floresg/tmp/orbit-floresg', ORB init failed
aborting...
/usr/lib/mozilla-firefox-1.0/run-mozilla.sh: line 451: 7394 Aborted "$prog" ${1+"$@"}
Edit: Nevermind, I solved the problem. I guess I deleted that tmp folder and it reset the permissions to only root. I logged in as root and gave the user read/write rights. It's solved. I guess I posted prematurely.
