fingerprint login does not work in CentOS 8

I just installed CentOS 8 fresh on a lenovo laptop. This laptop has a usb fingerprint reader.
I was able to enable 'Fingerprint Login' in my Account Settings. It asked me to scan my finger 5 times and then it said I should be able to login using fingerprint. Now on Login page, it says to enter password or swipe finger. When I swipe finger, nothing happens. How can I make this login work with finger scanning?

You have to configure the login process. While I don't know how to do it, your preferred search engine probably knows. For example https://access.redhat.com/documentat...e/fingerprints (that's for RHEL 7; if it doesn't work on Centos 8, it shouldn't be too hard to find instructions).
