Finding source code for Linux

I would like to have the source code for my Linux. I am hazy as to where to get that. I downloaded Red Hat 9 from linuxiso org.
I got Version: 9 (shrike) Release: 2003-04-07

Does linuxiso have the source? I can't see it, but maybe I am not looking for the right thing.

Thanks

You can get the kernel sources from www.kernel.org but be advised distros patch the kernel with their own stuff. For RH, there's an RPM called kernel-source on your install CDS. You can install thatr and it will put the kernel source into /usr/src/linux.

Are you talking about the source for the whole distrobution or just the kernel?

And if it is the whole distro, alot of those will be patched in various ways also.

Needing to compile a driver

_J, I need to compile a driver of a wireless device. So is it the kernel I need, or everything?

Thanks
