finding all partitions

I have 320 gig hard drive on a asus m51. There seems to be around 80 gigs missing since i installed 9.10. I was running vista premium. I went for a full install, no vista left. how do i see all the drives or is only one now. I`m learning a lot off these forums. Thank you. I am very happy with ubuntu 9.10

Install gparted and launch it as root and see if the partitions show up. Mounted partitions can be seen using:
Code:

mount

It shouldnt be gone anywhere. Can you detail what did you do exactly and what was your partitioning before Ubuntu and what it is now. And does vista still reside in your system? Did you delete anything? How did you partition your drive from Ubuntu?

"sudo fdisk -l"

In a terminal window, type

Code:

/proc/mounts
Other option is as said by @~sHyLoCk~ you can open gparted and see the partitions.
