find remote IP Address in My Office Network

I want to login to my server located in same intranet. How can I know the IP address of my server from my Ubuntu PC. I know the username password of the Server.

How do you connect to the server? e.g. by using a domain name instead of the IP.

If nothing else, the local administrator would know all of this.

Go to terminal mode on your ubuntu and type "arp" which should show all devices on the network including the Server.

Or you could go over to the server console and go into Terminal Mode
In The Terminal type "ifconfig". That will show the IP address of the Serve
