Finally!

Have finally given up on Amarok to play audio CD's. Couldn't get rid of all the cackle/static. I now use the "Kaffeine" player which played my audio CD's without any interference such as cackle/static that my old ears could hear. The visualisations are not very good but it is the sound quality that is most important to me anyway.

Now can someone please tell me how i can stop Amarok from appearing on my screen as soon as i put a CD into the drive. Thanks everyone.

Change the way Audio CDs are handled in KDE's control centre.
