Filesystem/Specific Files
I've found a ton of resources on the different commands that are available, but I've yet to find a good resource that explains not only the filesystem/structure - but also the specific files. For instance, the configuration files (rc, rc0...etc..), or what certain files are there for.
I'm kind of looking for an overview of the directories, and more importantly, an explanation of what the different files are - and how they relate to the system while running, at boot, and/or at shutdown. If there was already a discussion around here for this, please leave the link and I'll read it - but my searches didn't provide what I was looking for. Thanks. |
