files flashing and with brown background

the file armyops is flashing and has a brown background

The system thinks the file does not exist but when you type

ls

in /usr/local/bin

it is there however it is flashing and has a brown background when viewed in Konsole.

why is this. I can't run the program either. How do I fix this?

It has been working until now

The same has happened to netpanzer. Both these programs were installed with .bin extensions, could this have anything to do with it?

It looks like a broken link. To see the link use:
ls -l filename

Follow the link to see where it goes and maybe that will provide some clues.
