Hi,

You need just to copy your file to your usb folder. A command like the following will do:

# cp /path/to/your/file /media/your_flash

When you insert your usb flash, it will be recognized automatically and mounted under media.

plug drive in - the drive should appear as an icon on your desktop.

drag the files you want copied across.

If you want to save directly to the drive, it will appear in the file tree under /media usually as /media/usbdisk or similar. So that's what you brows to in the "save as" dialog.
