Question File location problem

When trying to launch a program I get an error that looks like this :

/usr/local/sbin/clamd: No such file or directory

but I know it isn't there , it is over here /etc/irc.d/init.d/clamd

so what do I do to let the system know the correct location?

Try this. Open a terminal and enter the command 'which clamd'. That should show you the path to clamd. Then edit the progam prefereces to point to that path.
