file integrity checking software???

Hi,
Can anyone please tell me the names of a few file integrity checking software's like tripwire. Ive used tripwire but offlate Ive been having problems accessing the sourceforge site of tripwire.

A file ckecking software which works in the client server model would be great.

Thanks
Danish

Aide is tripwire's maintained and supported replacement.

If you mean having a central host for storing all the clients databases then you want Samhain. Or you could use Aide with a third party addon. BTW, this answer most likely could have been found by searching LQ for "integrity check".

Thank you for your suggestions, I appreciate it.

Yes, I have looked on Aide and Samhain. I installed both of them but have been able to try Samhain till now. Though, I have'nt been able to understand on how to use Samhain.

Will post if required

Thank you very much
Danish
