File Finder

I feel that Pfind is a memory hog and frequently has to be killed.

Are there any recommendations for a GUI type file finder ?

if you have so many files ( like on multiple servers )the terminal is the best tool

most desktop environments have a built in search function
But without knowing just what OS and what desktop you are using ........
i can not make any suggestions

Thanks.

Actually, I don't have that many files.

Just a single 250 Gb drive.

I dual boot to Slacko and Windows, but mostly Slacko. :-)

My O.S. is Puppy Slacko 5.6.0

Most Linux file managers (Konqueror, Dolphin, Nautilus, etc.) include a file finder. You might have to hunt about a bit to find it, as they may hide it in different places, but it's there.
