File chmod when copied


Hi,

Is it possible to change the chmod values of file when copied over scp?
I have a folder on Ubuntu server to which config files of devices are copied
periodically and I don't want these config files to be accessed.

Hi, welcome to LQ.

I would use ssh for that.
