few keys are not working with Fedora 8

Hi,

I have recently installed Fedora 8, i386 on my Acer Aspire 5500 Laptop, Pentium M. I am also having windows on my machine, dual booting. Some of the keys are not working for me, for example {at the rate} and {pipe} etc. However i am mangaging with copy those symbols in editors and using copy and paste.
How this can be fixed.
Thank in advance.

Manish.

do you mean @ and | symbol?

if so, it sounds like you have the wrong keyboard (kb) layout.

I do not use Fed and I do not use gnome....but if you are using kde go into kde control centre and change your region and then change your kb layout.

I am guessing you are Indian or Sri Lankan.....also see the number keys are correctly shown ....104 or 105 etc

Yes you are right, i selected UK option for keyboard during installation.
