fetch folder capacity

who can tell me how to know a folder's property include whole capacity etc.

Try this:
bs@bsubuntu:~$ cd download
bs@bsubuntu:~/download$ du -h -s
935M    .
$ man du for more details.

Well, I'm assuming by capacity that you mean how much space is being used. Since a folder will expand, I suppose, just about up to the size of the partition in which it lives.
