Fedora7 64 doesnt detect INTEL AHCI SATA
Hi all,
I am new to this forum so first a small intro- using SUSE9 since 2008. Now i decided to try fedora7 64 bit but fedora cannot detect my laptops (it works just fine in my intel D965GVNL with Duel Atom system Desktop having a SATA 260GB Seagate) hdd. It is a HP 6910p with 160GB seagate. The drive controller is AHCI SATA, process Intel Core2 Duo 1.8Ghz. Knew that AHCI SATA support is available with Kernel 2.6.19 or later and fedora7 64 has 2.6.21 then what could go wrong? Is there any way to intrigate the drivers for AHCI SATA with fedora7 installation DVD? Any body has already done it let me know.
Thanks
