Question Fedora problem

sir i have install fedora core 7 and i want to make voip server.i was made many voip server in fedora core 7
but now there is problem when i type the make command the out put response is
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/zaptel-'
make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/src/zaptel-'
make[2]: `menuselect' is up to date.
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/zaptel-'

/bin/sh: build_tools/make_version_h: Permission denied
make[1]: *** [version.h] Error 126

please solve my problem.

Why dont you get the latest version of Fedora ...

i.e. Fedora13

Hi Qasimkasi,

What command you entered for zpatel compilation?

I am not sure but there is make linux26 command is used to make zpatel on 2.6 kernel.

make linux26
make install

/bin/sh: build_tools/make_version_h: Permission denied
I am not sure what could be the problem, but because of the above line may be you can try executing it as root.

And as said in the previous post it would be better if you can try in a later version, fedora 7 is really old.
