Fedora on new hard drive has me stumped.
Ok. First off, I'm an extreme newbie.
I just installed a new hard drive (Western digital 80gig) to put Fedora on. The hard drive (F:\) is installed correctly. That's the only thing I'm sure of right now. The set up for Fedora stumps me at the partitioning. I'm not wanting to partition. I want to install Fedora on Drive F:\ It really stumps me asking for[*]hda or[*]hdb That's as far as I get. I know that there is an easy answer to this. But if you could just give me a hint and steer me in the right direction, Please? System set up info: A:\ floppy C:\ Program files, docs and set, etc D:\ Windows XP home OS E:\ CDROM F:\ new hard drive, where I want to put Linux computer: Presario S4120WM Thanks a bunch John |
