Fedora k12 distribution, running dg and authenticating to a wind 03 or 08 sver

My name is Peter kenaston. I am desiring to setup a Windows 2003 or 2008 server along with a fedora 10 k-12 dist. I want users to authenticate to Windows and have DG on the fedora. I have some questions.

I am new to Linux.

1- Are there any how-tos for setting up fedora 10?
2- Are there any how-tos for getting users to authenticate to AD and use DG?

You do know that the fedora 10 version is a dead / unsupported version ? right ? The iso was posted in Feb 2009 .
There was a fedora 11 beta ( but fedora 11 is also unsupported - Past it's" End Of Life " - 13 months long .
Fedora releases a NEW version EVERY 6 MONTHS
fedora 13 is current

there will never be any security fixes to 10 ,nor any new programs .

and connecting to a ancient win2003 and the bit newer 2008 i would look into a solution from Red Hat( RHEL5 ) or novell's SUSE
