Fedora Core 3 Problem!!!

I've FC3 on my PC, and for some reason that I dont know, it gets freeze, only the mouse cursor moves, but the system gives no reaction.
Kernel : 2.6.12
Fedora Core 3
64MB Video Card Integrated

Oh and another thing, when i try to give full screen to mplayer, it goes fullscreen but the video image stays at the same size, the only thing that changes is that the rest of the screen get black.
My video card is a integrated VIA Unichrome 2D/3D Graphics chipset VIA KM400

could you run the following command and copy paste what it gives you?

cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep EE

FYI it echoes the content of the X log file and grep will make it so only the lines containing EE (meaning that there is an error) will be displayed

btw, how can you run mplayer if your system is frozen?

I don't really know about your problem with mplayer in fullscreen sorry. I know I had that problem once on a laptop so it seems pretty common and you might be able to find info on mplayer's forum.

This is what i get

(WW) warning, (EE) error, (NI) not implemented, (??) unknown.
(II) Loading extension MIT-SCREEN-SAVER

Well thanks, but I've resolved kind of my problem, well I have installed FC3 again, and about mplayer, well if I do this

mplayer -vo sdl -fs $MOVIE_PATH

I get fullscrenn

But in gmplayer I cant choose sdl, how can i fix this?
