I downloaded the 4 Fedora Core 3 isos and the rescue cd and my machine will not boot to disk1 or the rescue cd.
Here is what I have done so far
1. Downloaded disk one from two different mirrors and burned the image on two different burners and two different software packages
2. Tried booting the Cd to two different computers
3. Set the bios on the machine to have linux installed on it to only boot the cd rom
4. Have checked the size of the the images downloaded and burned....they are all the right size.
The machine will never boot up with the media I have created. When I burned Fedora Core 2, I did not have any problems at all. Now I am puzzled.
What work arounds exist to overcome this obstacle? Can I boot up with disk 1 from the Fedora Core 2 and then slip in disk 1 from Core 3? Is there a boot disk out there I can burn and boot up with?
Thanks in advance to anyone able to assist me,
Damon
