FEDORA c3 installation problems

I'm trying to install FC3 on a crappy machine..it's got trident 4Mb 3d accelerator on it, pentium II 450, and 220 RAM.

what happened was I tried to install it, I chose graphical mode, but it didn't continue like that, but as the text based installation.

is this caused by x's incompatiblity with the hardware??or something else?
would this work if I'll try to continue intalling on it? would it still be able to use the graphics driver on the PC?
