Fedora & Red Hat 9

I have a dual boot (RH 9/WinXP) on different hard drives. RH 9 hard drive is 36 GB and there is ample space left on it. I am thinking of installing Fedora Core 2 along side RH9. I primarily use linux for surfing, emails, office applications, music, videos etc. Can anyone suggest whether FC2 is a good choice. Should I look to other distros??? I am leaning towards FC2 since its upcoming and also (being based on RH9) think installation would be relatively easy. I installed RH9 few months back and had no problem whatsoever with my hard ware.

Any suggestions would be helpful
Thanks,

fc2 would be a good choice if you have liked rh9, as it is very similar, just a bit more polished. the learning curve would be pretty much nonexistent. i have been considering another distro to run alongside fc1, but think i'm going to go to a completely different distro like slack. that way i would get another perspective on linux. i like rh and fedora, but how do i know i won't like slack more? know what i mean?
