Fedora 9 download problem

I have downloaded fedora 9 from the fedora site (both direct and torrent) a whole lot of times. and each time I try to verify the SHA1, I get a completely different sum. I have tried the downloads for Gnome and KDE but both end up the same way. I've tried the live USB creator tool as well. I have no idea whats going on here. The only one I could get to work correct was the X86_64. but my laptop requires the i686 (I tried booting it anyway and it yelled at me). What do I do now?

Are you D/L CDs or DVD? Fedora does a Free Media Program http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Distribution/FreeMedia
where people will mail you a free CD/DVD. If you want to send me your address (dont post it) then i can mail you the DVD...
