Fedora 9 & Microsoft Keyboard

My keyboard is Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000 and I was trying to install fedora 9. When the boot menu came up with the options, I was able to use the keyboard to select the boot options. But when the installation menu came up my keyboard was not working/didn't get detected. I don't have other keyboard. so what can I do?

If you have another system you can ssh (PuTTy) to the PC and change the keyboard type.
VNC might work too.

After post, hold down the right shift button till you get a prompt. At the prompt type "linux" and press enter.

I've had this issue with several systems now.
