It was working without any problem or error.

Hi!
As far as I know Fedora 8 is no longer supported - why do you want to use it?

Dear alfredo10, good day/night

many thanks for your kind help!
in fact I am using old version because most of them are compatible with NS.28.
I am using NS2.28 for simulating IEEE 802.11e.
so do you have any idea whether NS2.28 is compatible with Fedora 14 (32 bit)?

one thing more, that my machine is P4 with ram 512M,so is it easy to use Fedora 14 (32 bit) with these configuration?

again, I am happy for your answer!

Hi!
On my old notebook with 512M RAM I had installed F14 Gnome 32 bit - no problem, but that does not imply that it will work fine on each similar computer.
Sorry, that I can't answer your other questions.

Dear John VV,

Thank you your reply.

actually, I am using NS2.28. this version is compatible with the old version of gcc (below 3.3.1)
so I am interested to use old version.
so what do you think, will Ns2.28 work with Scientific Linux 6.0?

again, thank you very much for your care.
