fedora 8 asking username but during installation i dint give any username ??
 

im a freshie to linux world......i installed fedora 8...after completing the installation of all packages it is asking username which i have not specified during the installation.....and it is saying "incorrect username or password".....and onething i specified during installaion is the root password......please help.....:cool:

try to say Karanaramburum burum burum!

username: root
password : the root password you gave during installation.

P.S :- Create a new user with the useradd command and try to user the non root a/c as far as possible.
