Question fedora 7: trouble booting into windows from grub bootloader

Im using fedora 7 installed in a 40GB IDE hard disk. WindowsXP is installed in another hard disk. During
the installation, I've selected the 40gb hd as the primary one (i.e. sda). The installation was
successful but at the OS selection screen, Im not able
to boot into windows. The windows installation inthe
other disk seems to be perfect and unaltered.
The problem is I cant boot into windows from the grub
bootloader. The foll. is the contents of grub.conf
file in /boot/grub folder.

# grub.conf generated by anaconda
# Note that you do not have to rerun grub after making changes to this file
# NOTICE: You have a /boot partition. This means that
# all kernel and initrd paths are relative to /boot/,eg.
#root (hd0,0)
#kernel /vmlinuz-version ro root=/dev/VolGroup00 LogVol00
#initrd /initrd-version.img

#boot=/dev/sda
default=0
timeout=5
splashimage=(hd0,0)/grub/splash.xpm.gz
hiddenmenu
title Fedora (2.6.21-1.3194.fc7)

root (hd0,0)

kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.21-1.3194.fc7 ro

root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 rhgb quiet

initrd /initrd-2.6.21-1.3194.fc7.img

title Windows

rootnoverify (hd1,0)

chainloader +1

Please help me solve this issue. Ty in advance

Windows has to be #1 (or at least THINK it is)---It's an ego thing..

Since you have set up for Fedora disk to be #1 and Windows #2, you have to add the GRUB "map" command.

Make your Windows entry like so:
title Windows
rootnoverify (hd1,0)
map (hd0) (hd1)
map (hd1) (hd0)
chainloader +1
