Fedora 6 install on HP Proliant DL140 G3

Hi
I am trying to install Fedora 6 on HP Proliant DL140 G3 machine
The install is defaulting to 640x480 and I cannot see the full screen
Is there a way to change the default resolution for the graphical install
tried
linux i686 resolution=800x600
results the same

well it could be that Fedora 6 doesn't support the onboard graphics. FC6 is getting a bit old now, what graphics card/chip does the machine use? My guessing is its got intel onboard graphics, as i think its a rack mounted server. You could try a different, newer, distro or a newer version of Fedora. I've just put together a simple file server with Debian Sarge (though I would've used Etch if i had it on cd, which is easier to use), without any problems or needing an internet connection. There's Ubuntu server aswell you coud try.

good luck
