Fedora 6 frezzes on the desktop for this noob....any help please

My system...

Amd 3700+
Msi K8N Neo 4 nForce 4 Chipset
2 x 512 DDR 400
80 Gig sata
nvidia 7600GT

It even froze while setting up the install, now in is installed and I can get to the desktop fine, but it just randomly freezes, I can move the mouse but I cant do anything else.

If i leave it running on the desktop without doing anything its fine, but it usualy freezes up when I open up mozilla

I didnt install anything other then the normal install..

It freezes when running gnome or kde.

Please help me to get around this problem

I don't use Fedora, but I see you have a nvidia 7600GT graphic card;
so your problem could be with the graphical driver you use.
Have you installed the right nvidia driver for your card ?
See this nvidia link for details.
