Fedora 6 Command Line

How can I find out how what to type to run a program in Fedora 6 from the command line? When I log in to the KDE there are hundreds of programs I can click on to run but how can I locate the command to launch them from a command line so I can run them on a remote machine?

You could check the following locations :-
/bin
/usr/bin
/usr/local/bin
Lookout for the executables, if you have the color alias for ls working then the files in green color.
If you are looking for any program in particular then do the following :-
$ > updatedb
$ > slocate nameOfTheProgramYouAreLookingFor

good luck

Context-Menu on the application that you want to launch outside the K-menu. Then "Edit-Item" and you get displayed the command that is used for this shortcut.
