Angry Fedora 3 freeze


Hi, I am having some trouble with Fedora core 3.
Since I installed it on my Compaq Presario V2205US, It freezes whenever I Start an application especially when I am trying to apply any changes that I made.
I really need some help on this one.

Still not working

Hi Guys please i really help on this one.
I am writng this from my notebook right now. the only application that is working is Firefox. I tried to configure evolution but at the moment of applying my changes, everything just froze. I can't even start the terminal. I used firefox to open dmesg . this is what I see:

I do not know what is wrong. Everything is frozen. It's been behaving like this since the installation.

I had the same problem but it turned out to be a video driver. I have a nvidia card and I had to download the driver right from nvidia. It took a bit(thanks to my newbie-ish) but it is now running well. What kind of video card do you have?
