Fedora 23, Monitoring and blocking connected IP addresses .

Hello,
I'm trying to find out if there is a way to monitor all the ip addresses that are connected to my laptop, and then block certain ip addresses. Secondly, if there was a way to do this, would it be able to see the addresses that a second device is connected to via mobile hotspot?
Thanks!

Hi dordy.

Welcome to LQ!

It depends what you mean by "monitor". Do you want to monitor all the traffic from every IP address? You can always block certain addresses by adding to the chains in iptables. On the last question, it's doubtful that there is a practical way to do that.
