Yeah, I'm not sure how all that happened. All I did was remove thunar and replace it with pcmanfm, which I corrected after installing xfdesktop. The only other significant change I'd say would be installing the broadcom-wl driver so the wireless chipset would work. I downloaded the iso from Fedora's site. I used the downthemall addon for firefox since I couldn't find a bittorrent download on their site, just http. I put the md5 sum into downthemall and it failed to verify, but it seems to do that with everything I download. Anyway thanks for your input it was appreciated.
