Fedora 18 Switchable graphics card, laptop running loud hot

how can I configure Fedora-18 to run either graphics card at my choosing?

I'm new to Linux and I would really appreciate it if you could show me all the steps in order to fix my problem. I have very little knowledge of linux and the commands that may be needed in order to fix these problems.

I realize that you have an Intel grahics card but perhaps these instructions will help eventho they are for
a Nvidia card for Fedora-

Reading about both of your graphics cards may help you to decide which one to choose.
If it were my system I would stick with only one card and not run either at my choosing-
But that's just me.

The only other thing that I have in mind is you could 'tweak' your Xorg.conf file to have what you want-
