Fedora 15 Applications overview

I installed one week ago Fedora 15. I am very satisfied, but I did one thing that I think it was not suppose to do. I use google chrome as my default browser, and i installed from webstore some Apps, and i did the stupidity to create a shortcut in Applications overview also, because i made on the Desktop also, but it was very easy to remove. And now i cannot remove those icons that there are left there. I was in /usr/share/applications but there are only icons that you install through Add/Remove software or different ways.
So how do i remove those useless icons that i installed through google chrome from Applications overview?

Thank you for your time and for your help

Hello willockss, welcome to LQ,

are you using Gnome 3 as your desktop-environment?

yes i use Gnome 3, i didn't change anything, is the default installation of Fedora 15

Well, the problem is that Gnome3 is very new, few people are using it yet. I'd recommend to read in the documentation. For example here: http://ubuntumanual.org/node/280

Good luck

Thanks but I already did. Fedora have a better documentation about Gnome 3, and is nothing about this kind of situation.

But thank you so much for your time and for the effort :newbie:

btw, surely Gnome 3 has bugs since it is very new, it may therefore be that your issue is related to a bug instead of a missconfiguration.
I remember the early days of KDE-4 some years ago, there were many bugs.
But since Gnome 3 is still in its testing-phase, if you find a bug, post it to the developers, and if you find a solution for your problem which is not yet described in the documentation, feel free to support Gnomes documentation, look here: http://www.gnome.org/get-involved/

Thank you,

Then I will get involve, so i will study the situation so maybe i will prepare some code, because i have an idea, is just to fix it :)
