Fedora 12 - Excluding certain programs from a custom appearance theme.

I have customised my appearance settings to be easier on the eye while programming. However for a few of the programs that I used I do not like this new custom appearance. I wanted to know if there was a way to exclude programs from the custom appearance settings. Is there a file somewhere I can manipulate somehow to do this?

I apologise if this explanation is not very clear.

You have not said what DE/WM you are using, which makes it impossible for anybody to help you.

That being said you shouldn't still be using Fedora 12, it has been unsupported for 2 years..
You should upgrade to the latest Fedora (16), then worry about solving your problem..

Sorry it's GNOME 2.28.2

This is on a computer for my job, I unfortunately do not have control over which system I am running at the moment.

Thank you for your response all the same.
